Those who have been in the Czech Republic, will understand me. Czech dumplings with goulash – it is better than any “high” cuisine! This is a dish that warms the body and soul, what you just can’t stop eating, even if it is already no place in stomach. There are many types of these Czech dumplings. They can be steamed, boiled, cook the dough into a gauze, etc. But clearly, as a side dish, it is always served with beef stew. I found my ideal quick and easy recipe for dumplings that Czechs called “hedgehogs” because of their appearance. By the way, these dumplings I give a child in lunch-box, but fry them like French toast ??? (Czech dumplings in the French manner) dipped in egg, whisk milk and fried in butter with a drop of vegetable oil. Then just sprinkle with sugar.
Dumplings fried in garlic butter are also our favorites. Yum-Yum!
