Summer came in Dubai! Only AC and ICE-CREAM can save us π.
Many people think that it is very difficult to make a good ice-cream at home. Believe me it is possible! Moreover you can easily make it without any special equipment, having only a simple electric mixer. And yes, this ice-cream will be light, smooth and water-mouthing. Just few simple steps: whip, mix, freeze and you are in heaven!
All what you need is ONLY 4 INGREDIENTS which you can get easily in any supermarket or local grocery:
- Whipping milk with not less than with 35% of fat content.
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Hot cacao powder
- Marshmallow (or nuts, chocolate chips, raisins, biscuits, etc)
Note: It is important not to add any fresh fruits or liquids as the ice-cream can become too icy and have not smooth texture.

Homemade ice- cream with marshmallow
Ingredients:
- 3 cups heavy cream (35.1% fat)
- 270 g of condensed milk
- 3-4 tbsp hot chocolate powder (I use Cadbury)
- A handful of marshmallow
Cooking method:
- In a large clean glass or plastic bowl, whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
- Add condensed milk, hot chocolate powder and marshmallow.
- Put the resulting mass into a rectangular glass dish, cover with foil and place in the freezer for at least 5 hours.
Important:
- Cream is best whipped in a wide large bowl, it will give lightness and help to avoid crystallization after freezing.
- The main ingredients of ice cream are cream and condensed milk. Instead of marshmallow, you can use nuts, dried fruits, biscuit pieces, etc.
- The hot chocolate powder can be replaced with cocoa powder mixed with powdered sugar, cinnamon with powdered sugar, and so on.
