Simple breakfast today. The reason is that currently we don’t have a fridge (it is broken).

Huge huge THANKS to my friends (@bb_spice_beauty_uae and @alino4ka_2106 ) who helped me with the rests of survived food from our freezer/fridge.

You know, it is a very interesting experience - managing the kitchen without refrigerator 😄. Planning, buying and cooking without any leftovers. It sounds like #sustainablekitchen 🤣.

Cheese 🧀 and pears 🍐 is a perfect flavor combination, particularly for dinner. It is light, juicy and rich in textures.

The secret of the #perfect taste is in balanced sweetness of pears and savoriness of blue cheese.

PEARS WITH CHEESE

Ingredients:
- 4 pears, halved and deseeded.
- 100 g blue cheese
- walnuts
- honey
- salt & pepper

Cooking method:
1. Steam with a covered lid pears in the frying pan adding a pinch of salt and pepper.
2. Remove the pears from the pan, put them on the baking tray. Top with cheese, nuts, honey and bake in the oven till cheese melted.

Serve hot

I needed 40 years to discover… no… to release one of my hidden talents. Growing up in the family with two professional and absolutely fantastic artists I had no chance to compete with my mom and sister. I’ve decided that my type of art is not an art at all, as it is not based on any rules. Even my dad drew technical pictures better than me 🤣. I simply crossed this skill out of my portfolio.

Do you know what #power freed my #talent out? I simply don’t like empty walls!

Once our second son started being more independent I took a pencil and drew first lines on the wall. I didn’t know how exactly the picture would look like - I believed in my inner power and intuition which would guide my hand… and they did!

#georgiancuisine

Khachapuri - flatbread with cheese - used to be prepared from salted curd mass, which reflects the very name of the dish (translated from Georgian "khacho" - bread, "puri" - cottage cheese). There are a huge variety of khachapuri, because in almost every region they are prepared according to their own recipes.

Ingredients:
- 1 kg flour
- 1-1&1/2 cup lukewarm milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 packages of active dried yeast (2 x 11 g)

Filling:
- 1 kg cheese (cottage cheese mixed with kashkawan or suluguni, mozzarella)
- 10 egg yolks
- 200 g butter

1. Prepare yeast dough. Divide it into 10 equal parts and roll out oval cakes.
2. Place grated cheese on each piece. Smooth out the filling, retreating from the edge of 1 cm.
3. Wrap the edges of the flatbread, giving it a shape of an eye.
4. Bake #khachapuri in the oven at 220 ° C until half cooked. Then put a piece of butter and an egg yolk in the middle of each khachapuri. Put them back to the oven for 1 minute.
5. Once ready, remove from the oven and grease the edges of khachapuri with butter. Serve immediately.

It is so enjoyable to come back to cooking after some break! We decided to stay in the @residence_iron_cube fully furnished and equipped apartment, so no need to rush every morning for breakfast in the restaurant.

I love discover new flavors and products from the local market in #karlovyvary Czech Republic. The ingredients look the same, but the quality of them is insane. Milk, eggs, sausages, porridge, and a good cup of tea in the morning with the most loved ones - the best beginning of the day. Even when outside is cold and icy rain makes you feel like you are somewhere in Siberia 🥶❄️

Recently I found myself very stressed, worried about important and less important things, doing and planning… 🤯

…until I read a message from Dr. Caroline Leaf (who I am following for many years after her interview about brain & mind). It was about the reminding to stop stressing to “finish the year off strong”.

It is so true that the idea that we always need to “be doing” and “achieving” only creates cycles of anxiety.

As a result I stopped myself for a while, allowing for reflection, recharging and refilling of my energy flows.

I accepted that my body as well as my brain have to rest, relax and slow down a bit to be more effective, healthy and live longer.

Thank you @drcarolineleaf for a reminder! I needed this! 🙏🏻

Finally my fridge and freezer are full 👍🏻. Vegetables, diary products (including laban for home-made cheese), fruits, pasta, etc. However my favorite part of the shopping is the one from 🇯🇵 Japanese supermarket in #Dubai (I leave here their website just in case https://deansfujiya.com/ )
I’ve got different dumplings, #natto (fermented soy beans, one of #superfoods in Japan), dozen of icecream (oh, I love them all, but particularly oolong tea icecream).

So for the lunch obviously I have cooked something from the country of raising sun 🇯🇵

- water
- 1 tbsp miso paste
- dumplings
- bok choy
- fish cakes
- spicy sesame oil & soy sauce

Cook all together for 7 minutes.

Our fridge is totally empty! The only things left - few tomatoes, zucchini, a small cut of onion, 2 eggs, teriyaki tofu…

This is what I managed to create 😄: steamed omelet with teriyaki tofu& onion, grilled zucchini and tomato salad. 😁🤘🏻👍🏻

I found also a drop of tahini paste & mayo which I used as topping ;)

PS: the bread is home-made 🤘🏻

To all the Chefs! It is your day today! 👌🏻Spark on plates as much as you can 🎉

So for today I choose again Japanese style dinner, which is very easy to make (if you have all needed #ingredients 😁).

#oinarisan or #inarizushi is a dish made basically from seasoned soybean pockets stuffed with sushi-rice. However there are many more varieties of it depending on the filling. Meat & Japanese omelet, rice & shrimps, caviar and nori, or even pasta!

With the sweet and savory taste of the pockets and their tooth-bite size this dish becomes a wonderful idea for any home party, picnics or even lunchboxes.

I’ve experimented with chicken today, trying to copy the taste I remembered from Asian restaurants in Poland: sweet & sour taste of a sauce with tender and soft chicken bites.
I’ve nailed it 👌🏻.
Then mixed with green beans #vermicelli and stuffed the soybean pockets! How easy is that?

Chicken in sweet & sour sauce:
- chicken breasts, cubed, floured in corn flour,
- 150 ml of any sweet & sour store-bought sauce or (100 ml tomato sauce+1tbsp sushi vinegar+2tbsp sugar+50 ml water)
- 4 slices of fresh pineapple, finely chopped + juice from pineapple

Fry the chicken cubes on high heat till crispy, then add the rest of ingredients. Cover the lid and simmer till thick consistency.

- Saint-Felicient bio cheese @vercors_lait, is an unpasteurised, bloomy rind, double cream cow's milk cheese from the Vercors, south of Lyon. It has a mushroomy, nutty flavour that is best enjoyed between April and September.
- fresh chilli jam @tracklements - the best friend of any cheese, incredibly versatile and addictive 👌🏻
- baked beetroot - always good company with any open sandwich
- walnuts & pumpkin seeds,
