Tarkovanka is a dish of Belarusian cuisine made from grated raw potatoes. Its peculiarity is a combination of such ingredients as potatoes, apples, raisins (dried fruits) and onions. You can serve it with milk.
“Tarkovanka” – Belarusian cuisine

Ingredients:
- 3 potatoes
- 30 g of butter
- 1/2 onion
- 50 g raisins
- 1 apple
- salt pepper
Instruction:
- Finely chop onion and fry in butter. Peel apples from peel and cores, cut into thin strips. Soak raisins in hot water. Peel potatoes, wash, grate on a fine grater, add salt and pepper, fried onions, apples and raisins. All mix well.
- Form or molds lubricate abundantly with butter, put there the prepared potato mass.
- Bake in the oven for 40-50 minutes (if one form) and 20-25 minutes (if small molds) at a temperature of 180 ° C.
