Hello! Today I have a mood for a yeast dough. In general, dough, and especially yeast, loves affection, tenderness, it is necessary to be in a good mood and necessarily with light and positive thoughts.

So, my culinary repertoire expanded to a yeast dough recipe. I love cooking it. It always turns out so gentle and soft. The sugar is not added to the dough, but is used only for sprinkling. Its only drawback is the time it takes for the dough to grow. However, it’s easy to turn into dignity, because in two hours you can do a lot of things around the house while the dough rises.

Worth to try.

Fried cookies from yeast dough

Ingredients:

  • 400 g of wheat flour
  • 120 ml double cream
  • 120 ml of 30% sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 30 g butter
  • 30 g any fat (or ghee)
  • 11 g dry active yeast (1 package)
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Sugar for filing

Cooking method:

  1. For pre-ferment (bread starter) mix 150 g of flour, cream, sour cream, eggs and yeast and let rise in a warm place of approx. 1 hour.
  2. Add the softened butter and fat and the remaining flour. Knead the dough and let it rise again for 1 hour. Let down and once again knead ok. 10 minutes. The dough should be elastic, but not hard.
  3. Roll the dough into a layer of 0.8 cm thick, cut it into diamonds with a side of 5 cm. Fry in a frying pan in warmed vegetable oil. Sprinkle with sugar before serving.
    Bon Appetit!
