Delicious Apple Pancakes

Sometimes it is just enough to enjoy food without any restrictions! There are too many of them, so time to time we have to send the diets to the moon and celebrate the rainbow of flavors!

Today’s recipe is about JOY! CHILDHOOD MEMORIES and FREEDOM! There are not just simple pancakes – they are the one which was cooked by our grandmothers! Why grandmothers? Because they had time! And this recipe needs time!

But believe me – it is worth! Crispy outside and tender & soft inside with a juicy apple pieces – these pancakes are THE BEST!

Enjoy every moment while cooking and everything will be PERFECT!

Ingredients:

  • 11 g active dried yeast
  • 400 ml lukewarm milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp of melted butter
  • 500 g flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 apples, cut into cubes

Cooking method:

  1. First we need to activate the yeast: mix yeast, sugar and 100 ml of lukewarm milk. Leave it for 15 minutes.
  2. Add the flour, 2 egg yolks, the rest of lukewarm milk, 1 tbsp of melted butter, a pinch of salt – mix well and leave to raise for 45 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile prepare the apples: peel them, and cut into cubes. Sprinkle with some vanilla sugar.
  4. Mix the dough with apples.
  5. Pre-heat the frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry the pancakes on the low heat from both sides till crispy.
