Hello! I prepared this recipe for the first time 25 years ago! Uh, how it sounds! Time flies imperceptibly. That time I cooked to surprise my parents and be creative with my sister. Today, the cookies disappear in a second thanks to my wonderful children and husband.
It is also an excellent dessert for tea for guests and for children’s parties. You can do any form by giving vent to fantasy!
Shortbread Cookies Leaves and Flowers
- 3 cups flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 250 g of butter
- 1 egg + 1 yolk
- 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp soda
- 1 tsp of vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp of sifted cocoa
- Dough: stir the butter, sugar and eggs in a bowl with a wooden spatula until a homogeneous mass is obtained. In this mass pour sifted flour, vanilla essence, salt and soda and hand knead the dough. Divide the dough into 2 parts. In one – add the cocoa and knead again. After 1-2 minutes, the dough is ready. If it is heated by hand, it must be cooled in the refrigerator before cutting.
- Leaves: roll the dough into a bundle, cut it into smooth pieces. Each piece roll in the form of carrots and flatten. Starting from the thick end of the figure, with the sharp end of the knife, put on it oblique lines. Get a leaf with streaks. Then put the leaf on a dry baking sheet, grease the egg mixed with water, bake at a temperature of 200 ok 10-15 minutes.
