Jumping out of city life directly to the #Mars without any pre-prep it is our way to enjoy still chilly February nights in UAE 🇦🇪.
Floating bar in Sharjah is the type of hidden jewels that once seen becomes the favorite. Last year the theme was the Moon. This season #notaspace hospitably welcomes the guests at the Mars.

Additionally, 4th of February was that magical day when we could spot a rare green-hued comet named C/2022 E3 (ZTF) which hit its nearest point to Earth. More over, this was the unique chance to see it as the next time it will appear only in 50,000 years 😱.

#japaneseflavours 🇯🇵

Good afternoon 🎉. One more Japanese dish to my recipe book 👌🏻. It is my first time I’ve made marinated salmon (nice organic salmon I got in @spinneysuae ) and the the result exceeded expectations.
Generally, my one and only target when creating a recipe is to identify and emphasize #umami taste. It's easier said than done - umami taste is hidden deeply in the magic balance of flavors and textures combinations and it can’t be measured or identified by spoons or grams. It needs to be found based on senses, experience and taste buds.

Once this goal is achieved I am happy, and my family is even more than happy 😁.

As with all Japanese recipes - they are easy if you have all specific ingredients.

Marinated SALMON Japanese style.

Ingredients:
- 500 g fresh organic salmon
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp cognac
- Pink pepper
- White pepper

Clean and wash fresh salmon, then dry with paper towels. Prepare the salt mixture - mix salt, sugar, cognac, pepper till wet crystals consistency. Caver salmon with salt, put into the glass container and close with cleaning film. Leave in the fridge for 12 hours.

Remove the salt before the serving.

Serving:
Lemon juice
Tsuyu sauce
Daisho gyoza tare (seasoning sauce)
Aojiso (dressing sauce)
Spring onions
Sesame.

Mix the sauces and drizzle marinated salmon, then sprinkle with spring onions and sesame.
Serve as a starter or use for #pokebowl

Some Italian aromas are filling our home today. This is definitely one the the most favorite dishes of our kids. And for me its preparation brings many positive vibes and revives the memories from summer holidays in beautiful countryside around Lake Maggiore 🇮🇹.

SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE

INGREDIENTS

500 g minced beef Angus
4 slices of bacon
1 onion, medium, chopped
1 carrot, grated
3 garlic cloves, chopped
2 tsp oregano
1 stick of celery, chopped
1 apple, chopped
1 l tomato sauce
2 tsp tomato purée
1 tsp salt
2 tsp ketchup
2 glass of hot water
Butter + canola oil
1/2 cup grated Parmesan

Fry onion, bacon, apple, oregano, garlic, celery, beef. Steam for 20 min under the lid. Then add tomato sauces, tomato purée, salt, ketchup, water. Steam for 1 hour on a small heat, steering. Add a handful of Parmesan and turn off the heat.
Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions and add the sauce. Serve hot with grated Parmesan.

Simple breakfast today. The reason is that currently we don’t have a fridge (it is broken).

Huge huge THANKS to my friends (@bb_spice_beauty_uae and @alino4ka_2106 ) who helped me with the rests of survived food from our freezer/fridge.

You know, it is a very interesting experience - managing the kitchen without refrigerator 😄. Planning, buying and cooking without any leftovers. It sounds like #sustainablekitchen 🤣.

Cheese 🧀 and pears 🍐 is a perfect flavor combination, particularly for dinner. It is light, juicy and rich in textures.

The secret of the #perfect taste is in balanced sweetness of pears and savoriness of blue cheese.

PEARS WITH CHEESE

Ingredients:
- 4 pears, halved and deseeded.
- 100 g blue cheese
- walnuts
- honey
- salt & pepper

Cooking method:
1. Steam with a covered lid pears in the frying pan adding a pinch of salt and pepper.
2. Remove the pears from the pan, put them on the baking tray. Top with cheese, nuts, honey and bake in the oven till cheese melted.

Serve hot

I needed 40 years to discover… no… to release one of my hidden talents. Growing up in the family with two professional and absolutely fantastic artists I had no chance to compete with my mom and sister. I’ve decided that my type of art is not an art at all, as it is not based on any rules. Even my dad drew technical pictures better than me 🤣. I simply crossed this skill out of my portfolio.

Do you know what #power freed my #talent out? I simply don’t like empty walls!

Once our second son started being more independent I took a pencil and drew first lines on the wall. I didn’t know how exactly the picture would look like - I believed in my inner power and intuition which would guide my hand… and they did!

#georgiancuisine

Khachapuri - flatbread with cheese - used to be prepared from salted curd mass, which reflects the very name of the dish (translated from Georgian "khacho" - bread, "puri" - cottage cheese). There are a huge variety of khachapuri, because in almost every region they are prepared according to their own recipes.

Ingredients:
- 1 kg flour
- 1-1&1/2 cup lukewarm milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 packages of active dried yeast (2 x 11 g)

Filling:
- 1 kg cheese (cottage cheese mixed with kashkawan or suluguni, mozzarella)
- 10 egg yolks
- 200 g butter

1. Prepare yeast dough. Divide it into 10 equal parts and roll out oval cakes.
2. Place grated cheese on each piece. Smooth out the filling, retreating from the edge of 1 cm.
3. Wrap the edges of the flatbread, giving it a shape of an eye.
4. Bake #khachapuri in the oven at 220 ° C until half cooked. Then put a piece of butter and an egg yolk in the middle of each khachapuri. Put them back to the oven for 1 minute.
5. Once ready, remove from the oven and grease the edges of khachapuri with butter. Serve immediately.

It is so enjoyable to come back to cooking after some break! We decided to stay in the @residence_iron_cube fully furnished and equipped apartment, so no need to rush every morning for breakfast in the restaurant.

I love discover new flavors and products from the local market in #karlovyvary Czech Republic. The ingredients look the same, but the quality of them is insane. Milk, eggs, sausages, porridge, and a good cup of tea in the morning with the most loved ones - the best beginning of the day. Even when outside is cold and icy rain makes you feel like you are somewhere in Siberia 🥶❄️

Recently I found myself very stressed, worried about important and less important things, doing and planning… 🤯

…until I read a message from Dr. Caroline Leaf (who I am following for many years after her interview about brain & mind). It was about the reminding to stop stressing to “finish the year off strong”.

It is so true that the idea that we always need to “be doing” and “achieving” only creates cycles of anxiety.

As a result I stopped myself for a while, allowing for reflection, recharging and refilling of my energy flows.

I accepted that my body as well as my brain have to rest, relax and slow down a bit to be more effective, healthy and live longer.

Thank you @drcarolineleaf for a reminder! I needed this! 🙏🏻
