This dish is very common in Poland. „Peas and carrots” is a perfect side dish to any meat. Easy to cook. Delicious in taste. Worth to try.
Peas and carrots

Ingredients:
- 250 g frozen peas
- 2 medium carrots
- 1 tbsp butter
- 300 g savory sauce (meat or vegetables, home-made or from a shop)
Cooking method:
- Put frozen peas in a pot, add butter, cover the lid and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes.
- Cut carrot into cubes and add to the pot with peas.
- Meanwhile prepare the sauce: pour any broth into the pot and boil it. Mix 1 tbsp corn flour with 50 ml of cold water, then add it to the broth. Stir well and cook until thickened.
- If you got sauce powder from a shop cook it according to the instruction on the package.
- Pour sauce into the pot with vegetables and bring it to a boil.
- Serve with any meat.
