We were looking for our perfect recipe of beef BBQ for sandwiches long time. Finally, we managed !!! And the story is …

Walking around the city, it was very difficult to find something to eat for our son because of its very selective approach to eating. Before he tries something he always sniffs: if the smell is not pleasant, whatever the product is, it is expunged from the “food” list. Once I accidentally bought for myself a sandwich with beef BBQ at Starbucks.

As soon as I bit it, Denis rushed up to me and sniffed my sandwich. Since then, the problem with outside meal was solved, but not for long … very soon, these sandwiches are gone, along with the change of menu in the cafe.

And we are so happy that finally our BEEF BBQ RECIPE works and it did pass an exam and fulfill the expectation of out little taster-boy. Ufffff!

 


Beef BBQ for sandwiches


Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg of beef tenderloin

Sauce:

  • 2 cups of ketchup Heinz
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp crushed dried flakes of chili pepper
  • 50 ml water

Buns for serving


Instructions:

  1. In a pressure cooker mix all of the dry and liquid ingredients. Mix well.
  2. Cut meat cut in halves. Put in a pressure cooker and mix with the sauce. Cover the lid and cook for approximately 1 hour 45 minutes.
  3. When the meat is cooked, put in a separate bowl and by two forks break it up into small peaces. Then add 3-4 tbsp barbecue sauce obtained after cooking.
  4. The rest of the sauce pour into a jar with a lid. It can be stored and used as a marinade for meat dishes.
