

Happy New 2019 Year to All!
I wish you all successful year, full of joy and happiness, love and respect.
This is my first recipe on the blog this year. Not that I didn’t cook anything before. Moreover I was cooking all time but that were special dishes for new year eve celebration. For sure I will share them with you very soon.
After such tasty holidays we all need a rest and diet 😂. Chicken stock, enriched by lentil and bulgur is a good solution for all family. It is a winner for my kids 🤘🏻.
Ideally it is better to use home-made stock which you can easily make yourself. To get fullness of flavor it is better to bake in the oven chicken bones and skin before cooking them. While stock is cooking use this time to prepare and cut all veggies and meat.
Certainly there is a shorter way to make a chicken stock avoiding baking of the bones and skin. In this case it doesn’t take too much time. To enrich a flavor add more butter.
Soup can be stored in the fridge for 3 days. Before serving re-heat only the quantity you are going to eat, the rest put in the fridge. Never re-heat the whole soup as it can speed up the bacteria’s’ growth.
While cooking the soup don’t afraid to be creative. Add products you like, e.g. root and leaf vegetables, other type of cereals like millet, oats, cous-cous or pasta.
